Sylvia Chen

Sylvia Chen is a U.S.-licensed international trade attorney and policy advisor with over a decade of experience in the U.S., EU, and East Asia. 


Her professional roles span consulting, private legal practice, and government advisory, including a Fellowship at the Robert Bosch Stiftung. Ms. Chen also has worked with law firms in the U.S. and Germany, advising on U.S. and EU trade remedies, sanctions, export controls, foreign investment screening, and trade policy. She also contributed to high-level U.S.-EU-China trade policy dialogues and corporate risk assessments.


She holds a J.D. with a concentration in International Law, an LL.M. in International Crime and Justice, and dual B.A. degrees in Economics and International Relations. Fluent in Mandarin, English, and German, Chen actively leads professional initiatives, including roles in TradeExperettes and the Society of International Economic Law.
